Project Description:
The Center for Teaching and Learning will expand teacher preparation and certification, be a model for innovative teaching techniques, transform the traditional teacher-training classroom into an elctronic learning community, design special fast-track programs,emphasize hands-on applied classroom experience, providing ongoing professional development and serve as a networking resource and support center for teachers while in the field.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Over the next five years, it is anticipated that more than 1600 undergraduate teachers-training and 4000 existing teachers will take advantage of the programs offered by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
