Project Description:
The Telecommunications Institute will form an integral part of the Network Access Point being built in Miami. The Institute will link IT and Higher Education following the model of North Virginia and Silicon Valley, promoting a high-tech industry base.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
An immediate leveraging of dollars to attract outside research projects, full enrollment in multi-disciplinary programs being developed meeting pent up demand for these programs.
