SOS is a licensed child caring agency providing permanent care for up to 60 foster children, currently ranging from age 6 to 18, who are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families. The uniquesness of SOS is it's mission to provide a permanent foster care placement, reuniting sibilings, and actually raising the children until they reach independence and self sufficiency as young adults. The children served have been determined by the department and the courts to be unable to return to their biological families and to be in need of long term care. |
