Project Description:
The Intermodal Transit System will be located at Orlando International Airport and will provide a seamless connection between the existing North Terminal Complex and the new South Terminal Complex.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
This system will allow Orlando International Airport to function as a single airport by connecting the North and South Terminals. This will result in more flexibility and efficiency; ensure the ability to accommodate varying levels of demand and eliminate additional vehicular traffic on OIA's roadway system. It will also increase the Airports ability to accommodate new markets and airlines thus benefiting the consumer, cargo, retail, and commercial operations.
