The existing clarifier unit for the wastewater treatment plan operated by the City of Flagler Beach is in need of repair. The City of Flagler Beach intends to build a second clarifier unit in order to provide for the ability to shut down the existing clarifier to make the necessary repairs and to provide for overall plant reliability. In addition to the second clarifier, a flow splitter box will be required at the wastewater treatment plant to evenly split the flows between the two clarifier units. The City also intends to refurbish an abandoned treatment tank on-site for use as flow equalization. |
