A regional project in NE FL specifically targeting substance abusing pregnant and postpartum women and women with dependent children. Treatment that addresses the issues of sexual abuse, alcohol and drug relapse, and ongoing recycling through the judicial system. Provides basic medical care to women and their children; onsite development center; respite services so mothers can attend AA and NA meetings; parenting classes; transitional housing along with GED prep., job-training skills building, interviewing, filling out job applications. |
