Project Description:
Phase One of this project will serve as an outdoor classroom and memorial where families of missing children will be provided a symbol of hope and/or closure with their loss. The memorial will also elevate the visibility of the problem of missing children. Phase 2 will focus on eradicating the problem of missing children. Phase 3 will concentrate on making children more aware of this problem, while encourainging reading and child safety.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Fewer reports of missing children; having more missing children returned to their families; more effective counseling services to parents and families of missing children.
