Project Description:

The Chamber of Commerce of the Niceville-Valparaiso-Bay Area is undergoing the major task of building a new facility.  The current building was constructed in the 1950's and with the exception of a conference room added in the 1980's, no improvements or expansions have taken place.  The new chamber building will act as an attractive gateway to our community and will offer a place for residents to utilize as a scenic, waterfront setting for seminars, meetings and other special events.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

The completion of this project will mark the beginning of the future of our area.  We plan to be the example for others to follow by showing pride in our community.  Our facility will be used by many organizations in the area, helping them to continue working for a better community.  The new building will be used by many service clubs, church groups, residents of both Niceville and Valparaiso and Chamber member businesses and committees, providing a facility for the entire Bay area, population of 33,992.  Through the chamber of Commerce, the new facility will be featured in many publications.  The Foundation and the Chamber will work closely with the City Commissioners and Mayor of Valparaiso and the city council, City Manager and Mayor of Niceville to ensure that the facility will benefit both communities.  The Chamber Foundation will evaluate the success of the new facility through public opinion and periodic surveys to city residents and Chamber members.
