The City of Quincy sanitary sewer south trunk main is running over capcity and prohibiting future expansion of the city sewer system. Until the system is upgraded, the city will be unable to extend services for future growth and development in the south side of the city. Additoinally, the City of Quincy Business Park is located within the sewer south trunk main and services can not be provided to the park. This is discouraging economic development in our community. The city wishes to construct a force main that will divert one half of the flow currently on the line and allow for future connections. |
