Create viable/effective alternative route to the 17th street corridor for east-west traffic. Enhance traffic flow around/access to city's most important economic, cultural assets. Help development projects meet concurrency requirments/prevent building moratorium. Safer pedestrian/bicyclist crossings to/from Flamingo/West Avenue neighborhood to beach trails. Provide better venue for the successful Electrowave Shuttle Service. Compliment the shifting of investments within the area toward upscale, institutional projects. Compliment the high level of investment and job creation in the area. |
