| For improvement of the section of NW/SW Capital Circle from Springhill Road (CR2203) to I-10. This will provide a much-needed tntermodal connector between the Tallahassee Regional Airport and the major limited access highway in the southern United States (I-10). | |||||||||

| At this time, limited intermodal connections exist in this region. Connections are made to I-10 using urban arterials, which generally imprede freight movements, given the amount of local traffic dependent on Capital Circle NW/SW for local area traffic movements. Plans for expansion of the Tallahassee Airport will increase its viability as an intermodal facility. Additional capacity to this most direct connector to I-10 is necessary to insure successful and competetive economic development in this region that serves north Florida, southern Georgia, and southern Alabama. | |||||||||
