Project Description: |
In 2000, Serenity House implemented this project to provide an intensive array of services to the highest risk substance abusers in Volusia County. This program provides case management, housing, counseling, and advocacy to deter "revolving door" individuals from high cost, publicly- funded hospitalization and incarceration. Outcome date indicate the significant impact of this program upon employment, arrest, family reunificaiton, and successful community adjustment. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
100 indviduals with serious substance abuse and/or mental health disorders will be served annually. 80% of those individuals will successfully complete treatment and remain crime free. 70% of clients with children will be successfully reunitied with their children upon completion of treatment. |
