| Land acquisition and construction of the lower Wares Creek flood control project, involving the widening, clearing, snagging, and dredging of approximately five miles of the Wares Creek urban stormwater drain through unincorporated Manatee County and the City of Bradenton with outfall to the Manatee River. The requested funding ($500,000) is the last of three annual installments committed by the Legislature to this project in 1999. | |||||||||
