| Using both the internet and a toll-free telephone line, the UF Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Online offers bilingual education and emotional support to individuals providing care to Alzheimer's patients in their homes. AlzOnline provides 24 x 7 services to the entire state of Florida. Programming includes regularly scheduled expert presentations on topics related to dementia care, a Message Board and Chat Room to help caregivers cope with the burdens created by the disease, an Electronic Library with resources on Alzheimer's care and breaking research developments, and Helpful Links to community resources. A completely Spanish version of the website has been developed and will be available to Florida's Hispanic caregivers in the coming year. | |||||||||
