| The project is an abstinence based prevention program developed as a collaborative effort between provate and public agencies/organizations with a mission to provide prevention and abstinence services. The project utilizes thr arts, activity based workshops and high energy motivational presentations to impact the lives of young people. All youths have the opportunity to develop an understanding of who they are, build self esteem, develop relationships with adults to serve as role models. Program implementation takes several steps: career exploration, skills development, game playing, sports, which all develop moral strength and instill values. Supportive services such as counseling, friendships, reinforcement and constructive examples are the strategies that enable our youth to be achievers. | |||||||||
