| This project will reduce pollutant loadings to St Andrew Bay. With a reuse system capable of one million gallons of reuse irrigation water per day, and the accompanying ultra violet disinfectant system, the loading to St. Andrew Bay of nutrients, total suspended solids, nitrogen and phosphorous would be reduced by 40% of the rated capacity of the Lynn Haven Wastewater Treatment Facility. This 40% volume reduction of treated wastewater effluent will increase the environmental health of the St. Andrew Bay and Ecosystem. | |||||||||
