Project Description: |
This project will complete the expansion of sewer lines into several areas along U. S. 319 and U. S. 98, which have been determined essential to improve or limit degradation of water quality. Areaso to be included are River Sink, North Crawfordville, Panacea Mineral Springs, Lake Ellen and Crawfordville. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
This project will net future savings of both personal monies and public tax dollars benefiting all Wakulla County citizens and State of Florida citizens. Financial assistance now will allow reasonable rates to be passed on to the customer and will aid local government by reducing the need to generate additional tax revenue. Environmental contamination will be decreased improving the area for all citizens and visitors. Economic development will have added incentive to locate in the area improving opportunity in an economically challenged rural county of Florida. In addition, the project prmotes conservation and empowers control of future development. |
