| This project consists of the purchasing of necessary equipment to facilitate the effective and efficient operations of the police departments traffic enforcement program. The equipment is as follows: 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police interceptor; 2-Kenwood TK-860 GK UHF Mobile Radio's, 2-Golden Eagle Radar units w/dual KA antennas and 2-Eagle Eyewitness video interface, 2-In Car video systems, 2-pro laser III speed detection devices and one monitoring awareness radar trailer. A five year analysis of traffic crash reports reveals that an average of 10 traffic crashes occurred in Greensboro each year, and an estimated 90% of these crashes happen on State Road 12. This project equipment will benefit the citizens of not just the City of Greensboro, but all the citizens of the State of Florida and the travelers to our state, who travel S.R. 12. | |||||||||
