Project Description:
Provides a single entry point in 30 rural counties for low income and low-income elders who need prescription drugs. Computer internet system increases access to free drug company programs. Physicians and health departments participate by prescribing, ordering and dispensing drugs. Current programs in nine counties serve more than 1,600 persons and generate more than $1.5 million in free prescription drugs.
