Project Description:
To maintain current level of access to antiepileptic medications by low income Florida residents with epilepsy.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Will save taxpayers the cost of frequent emergency room visits and will help patients to aquire/maintain medical stability, possibly leading to employment.Untreated epilepsy can be life threatening and altering.The average cost of the medication a single patient receives from the State Pharmacy is $1,400.00 annually, compared to numerous ER visits per year averaging $2,000.00 each.
