Project Description:
This is a multipurpose park to provide a residential and counseling facility for abused and neglected children. This is a joint project with Children's Harbor, Inc., a 501 (K) organization focused on providing assistive services to area children that have been abused and neglected. The City has provided a tract of city-owned land where the proposed facility will be constructed. As part of the same sight, the City will construct an Equestrian Park that will provide a stable learning facility for the City's police department mounted unit, which will provide an equestrian learning and training program for the child residents of the Safe Harbor facility.
