| $10,000,000 to include $9,000,000 to establish a matching grant program to enable Florida communities hosting military bases to invest in infrastructure improvements deemed critical to preserving the ongoing viability and presence of said bases. $1,000,000 to fund grant programs created in s.288.980 (1), (2), and (3), Florida Statutes, as amended by ch. 96-348 and ch. 98-176, Laws of Florida. Grant program categories include, but should not be limited to: Florida Defense Planning Grant; Florida Defense Implementation Grant Program; Florida Military Installation Reuse Planning and Marketing Grant Program; and the Florida Base Closure and Realignment (BRAC) Grant Program. | |||||||||
