| The Bigs in Schools statewide mentoring program funded by the Department of Education is a school based one to one customized mentoring program that provides a coordinated, professionally managed mentoring effort in 14 counties throughout the State of Florida and has reached over 1600 school age children over the last three years. | |||||||||

| 87% of mentoring children improved their grades, 92% improved thier attendance at school, 97% improved their behavior in school, 92% were promoted to the next grade level. These numbers are verified by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Florida in conjunction with the local school systems throughout the State.
