| restoration of creek bed channel and riparian habitat downstream of the dam. Removal of sediment from the breached earthen dam, planing a littoral zone to aid in enhancing water quality before eventually entering the Yellow River, and creating a buffer zone around the lake to assist with storm water runn-off. Restoration should provide increased wildlife habitat by improving wetland and vegetative habitat that creates better shelter and food sources. | |||||||||
