Project Description:
The City of Pembroke Pines coordinates and administers an After School Tutorial Program which provides education, homework assistance, computer training and counseling to children 25% below education level. The program also provides activities to children and their families, which includes self-esteem building, crime safety and health prevention, youth entrepreneurial projects and mentorship programs. In need of financial assistance to provide these services to children of lower income families and to expand programs to children in charter schools.
