| During heavy rain events the City's sewer system experiences a high volume of storm water infiltration. The infiltration creates raw sewage overflows within 1000 feet of Telogia Creek. The sewage and storm water mixture enters the storm water drainage system and discharges into Telogia Creek. Funding will allow the City to: 1. Replace dilapidated sewer infrastructure in areas where storm water enters sewer system 2. Replace or install equipment at the waste water treatment plant to achieve maximum outflows thereby reducing or eliminating overflows. | |||||||||
