Project Description:
This is a multipurpose park to provide a residential and counseling facility for abused and neglected children. The project in being run in conjunction with Children's Harbor, Inc., a 501(K) organization focused on providing assistive services to area children that have been abused and neglected. The city has provided a tract of city-owned land where the proposed residential/counseling facility will be constructed. As part of the same site, the city will construct an equestrian park that will provide a stable/training facility for the city's police department mounted unit which will provide an equestrian learning and training program for the child residents of the Children's Harbor facility.
