Project Description: |
This child care facility will provide a safe, educational and nurturing environment for children. In addition to providing parenting skills training coupled with early child care educational development services which will include family case management services, that will assess need, and subsequently make community assistant referrals to appropriate agencies, with a focus on self sufficiency. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
The measurable outcome will be that forty (40) children and units of family/guardians will receive childcare and family counseling services throughout the twelve (12) month fiscal year of which a subsequent certified professional evaluation will determine the effectiveness of reduced intervention with DCF as well as the increase of self sufficiency of the parents/guardians. The findings of the evaluation will be published as research of child & family intervention best practices. Pre and post test surveys will be performed to measure parent/guardian satisfaction and retention of child care information/education. |
