Statewide Interest: |
The AICP meets statewide interest as it relates to Chapter 216.052 by saving the State of Florida an average of $9.21 for every $10.00 allocated to the program that would have been spent on public health care, (i.e., through the Medicaid Program) had the participants lost their private health insurance coverage. Concurrently, the AICP will provide all eligible Floridians diagnosed with HIV/AIDS with access to a haigh standard of health care through the participants' private health insurance coverage. |
