| Requests the continuation of $200,000 appropriated in 2002-03 for the Seminole County Drug Court and the Department of Community Corrections outpatients services. These programs are fully functional and are highly effective diversion programs for the 18th Circuit as they increase public safety and decrease crime. The cooperation between the Courts, State Attorney Office, Public Defenders Office, Probation and Community Corrections, and The Grove Counseling Center makes these highly effective programs. These proven programs reduce crime, recidivism and are highly cost effective. | |||||||||
