Project Description: |
To complete the renovation of the One Art Community Center located at 4111 North Miami Avenue. The scope of work involves: all interior and exterior finishes, including facade work, replacement of windows and doors, as well as interior wall partitions, flooring, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cabinetry, upgrading bathrooms to meet ADA requirements, and classroom integrated equipment. One Art through the assistance of The Miami-Dade Office of Community and Economic Development was able to acquire a 5,000 sq. ft. building in order to expand and become the future home of the "Kids Off the Streets" Program - a year-round, ongoing program which provides "latch-key" and "at-risk" youth with free cultural and educational activities during the critical after-school hours. |
