| This facility has been designed as a special needs facility to service those coastal residents who are evacuated because of the threat of a hurricane or other disaster. The facility is specifically designed to assist those with special needs. During a evacuation 250,000 or more people move inland from the barrier islands on the central east coast and from coastal areas of the central west coast.
