This project consist of acquiring new police vehicles for Opa-Locka Police Department which primarily consists of 1994 Ford Crown Victorias that have over 70,000 miles on them by average. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

||||
|
Replacing old police vehicles with new vehicles will make the air cleaner, less emissions into the atmosphere and easy compliance with the Clean Air Act. The funds from this project will enable our police officers to better track the criminal activities in Opa-Locka and to safeguard the lives and properties of our citizens. |

Lower maintenance costs, efficient service calls by our law enforcement officers to keep the safety and well being of Opa-Locka residents and businesses and reliable vehicles will make our law enforcement staff more confident to render their services. |
