Project Description:
Build a new library for northern Washington County.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
More space for books and other library materials, as well as more room to accommodate the public. The current library is housed in very cramped quarters in a remodeled historic building that once served as Chipley City Hall. On most weekday afternoons this facility is packed with school children.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
A larger inventory of books and other library reference materials and increases in the number of materials checked out of the library.
