|
The proposed Hollywood Boulevard Intermodal Station will include a parking garage on the east side of Interstate 95 (SR 9) with a Neighborhood Transit Center (Transit HUB) which will serve the commuters, residents, and visitors of Hollywood. The east side parking garage will be linked to the existing passenger rail station with a pedestrian overpass across Interstate 95 (SR 9) to facilitate safe and easy access from the garage to the existing passenger rail station. A surface parking lot on the south side of Hollywood Boulevard (SR 820) may also be incorporated into the Station. This parking lot is to be linked to the existing passenger rail station with a pedestrian overpass. |

Use of mass transit which will relieve the use of roads. The State will benefit as many of the roads in the affected area cannot be widened. This project will allow businesses to expand and people to get to work. |
