The $265,540 request is for the design phase of the anticipated construction of a new clinic. Anticipated future fixed capital outlay funding request for new clinic construction would be approximatelt 2.6 million. The Polk County Board of County Commissioners have identified existing county property in Haines City that the health department concurs would be an acceptable site for a new clinic. In fiscal year 97/98 the nursing division staff provided services to clients in 8,383 Primary visits. In addition immunizations were administered to 3,697 additional clients. Thru eleven months of fiscal year 98/99 8,825 primary visits and 3,678 immunizations were administered. In addition the monthly caseload for WIC/nutrition in this clinic is 2,100 |
