The Miami Love Youth at Risk Project is a specialized, non-traditional, innovative program that brings the public and private sectors together to promote partnerships for youth at risk between the ages of 7-17 who reside within the boundaries of the City of Miami.  The focal point of the program takes place in the City of Miami Park System, and is geared toward preventing delinquency and diverting juveniles from the Justice System.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

It is anticipated that: 1) ten percent of all youth involved in the program will become part of the Neighborhood Role Models/Coaches Club. 2)Sixty five percent of all  youth enrolled in the caried components of Miami Love Youth at Risk shall successfully  complete the program by exhibiting improvement in scholarship, conduct and good sportsmanship. 3) At least 65% of all youth in the program will stay in school as measured by the number of days that the participants did not attend school. 4) Participants will acquire knowledge of many different sport activities while having no negative contacts with law enforcement.
