Project Description:
This project will transform a 120 acre area in the heart of Coral Springs into a vibrant entertainment, retail, and professional office complex. Through several private sector partnerships, Coral Springs' Town Center will provide Broward County residents enhanced retail and professional office uses during the day and enhanced dining, entertainment, and storefront browsing during the evening. The project will result in significant economic develpment expansion for both Coral Springs and Broward County. The project is broken into numerous phases, of which the first two address streetscape improvements, such as brick paver walkways, landscaping, street lighting and transportation improvements.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Residents will benefit from the expanded retail and entertainment opportunities as well as fromt he diversification of the tax base and other economic impacts.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Construction completion will result in additional square feet of commercial space added to the City's tax base, overall satisfaction of residents and visitors, and sales tax revenue for the state.
