This project is for Senior Center Construction and renovation matching grant. Provide services to low income seniors at risk of state Medicaid institutionalization. City will provide a continuim of community based services at the Center. |

Statewide benefit in maintaining functionality, self sufficiency, and optimum independence of low income seniors. Hot meal, socialization, recreational activities provided to reinforce self worth. State benefits by providing community service instead of state Medicaid nursing home placement. |
