Project Description:
The Town of Pembroke Park being a built out City of 4,900 population with mostly low income residents. It has most of it's wastewater lift stations out of compliance, and the collection system and pump stations during high rains are overflowing into streets and yards. This project will bring the City's wastewater system into compliance with FDEP and Broward County regulations.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Septic Tank overflow due to high water cause a health hazard. Statewide benefits include the safety and well being of the public.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Safe modern sewer with no sewage runoff into canals and streets.
