Project Description: |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |
To assist individuals with brain injuries to remain independent through assistance in aquiring the following services: vocational support, housing, employment, Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare qualification, control of substance abuse problems, behavior management and emotional support. The State benefits by having the provision of proper services for people with brain injuries, rather than these individuals being put into another category of funding which does not deliver the services they need. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |

An increase in the amount of Family Support Service Centers around the state. More individuals with brain injuries will remain in the community, rather than in costly residential programs. The Family Support Services Centers will be evaluated annually by professionals in the field. |
