Because of the growth of Ballet Florida and the Academy at Ballet Florida, additional studio and related space is required. Purpose of initial funding is primarily to pay design and architectural fees which would be incurred during this coming fiscal year. |

The bulk of the space added will provide for the increased studio and ancillary space for our education and community outreach programs. Thus, many more of our community's youth will be afforded the opportunity to learn ballet, increasing both the cultural awareness and talent of the community. Particularly with respect to our expanded City Dance Outreach Program, scholarship room and availability for at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth will be increased. |
