Project Description:
The intent of sneaker net is to engage in a formal three year pilot study to gather data to determine what school-to-home technology models students demostrate the greatest academic gains. Plans include the use of software and materials that teachers presently have access to and would like to implant, if available, in the students home.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Assit educators in making decisions regarding home computer use, models for set up and support, and viable intervention to provide additional learning time for those in need of remediation or acceleration.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Improved student acadamic performance of project students over non-project students.
