Creates a boys choir based on the Boys Choir of Harlem model. The WPCDC seeks to improve the economic environment of the West Perrine and South Dade area through commercial revitalization, capital improvements and housing/community developments. This program is designed to prepare inner city youth to become disciplined, confident, motivated and successful members of society. Through an emphasis on education, counseling and the performing arts, we provide youth with a wonderful opportunity to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. |

The South Florida Boys Choir combines musical training with comprehensive educational training. It serves as a sanctuary for youngsters seeking refuge from the mean city streets and helps to develop their self esteem and find positive role models. The SFBC will offer a musical education program, a theatre management curriculum, an advanced dance and movement department, a traveling curriculum for tutoring choir members and a complete program in physical education. |
