Project Description: |
The City of Pembroke Park has no outfall into canals or the like. During even mild storms there is heavy flooding due to the fact that no outfall exists. The City has formed a Stormwater Utility, however it needs this assistance to begin the work in construction of an outfall source to either the C-9 or C-10 canals or both to shed stormwater. |

Septic Tank back ups due to high water cause health hazard. During high water storms, A/C units sit in waster at homes and cause electrical problems and public safety hazards. For the State to assist in requiring at least one safe outfall for discharge of stormwater from the City. |
