Project Description:
This project would fund improvements in "Phase III" of the development of Sunrise Tennis Club Park, including construction of tennis courts and practice facilities, parking areas, plazas, and landscape improvements.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The proposed Phase III improvements would provide recreational opportunities to the city's 80,000 residents, as well as a site for major tennis tournaments, both amateur and professional.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The success of this project would be measured by the number of people who use the new facilities, as well as the events the city is able to host. It is anticipated that the project will be very successful, based on expressed public interest and enthusiasm to date, and the popularity of existing city facilities.
