Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Establishment of a memory disorder clinic at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.  NOTE:  Statutory language was passed in the 1999 Legislative Session to authorize clinic, however funding was not put in the Dept. of Health budget as was done in the past for other established memory clinics.  (HB 1971)

By delaying impairment from Alzheimers, the burden of the disease is reduced in the community.
