The Crisis Stabilization Unit is licensed to serve 30 consumers in Lee County. They are currently serving only 26 consumers . Ruth Cooper Center is requesting operating

funds to serve an additional four consumers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

The Crisis Stabilization Unit is Lee County's public Baker Act receiving facility. It is a secure unit that treats persons in severe psychiatric crisis. From May to December 1999, the unit was operating at maximum capacity(26). The center has agreed to open an additional 4 beds to serve at licensed capacity (30).They are requesting operating funds for an additional 4 beds.
