Project Description:
Support the expansion and creation of research proven elementary school reading strategies in five (5) Florida School Districts (Duval, Broward, Miami-Dade, Hillsborough & Palm Beach. ( see attachment)
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
To significanly increase student reading abilities and test scores in low performing ("D" & "F") elementary schools. (see attachment)
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Positively impact 55 elementarys and 17,000 children. Each child will progress at least 1 grade level per year in reading test scores.
