Project Description:
The City is seeking assistance to improve the quality of surface water in the Lake Worth Lagoon by repair and replacement of old storm water infrastructure and incorporation of water quality devices to collect debris, sediment and various pollutants.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Lake Worth Lagoon receives cleaner water, benefits to seagrasses, endangered species and ecology of the Lagoon.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Installation of storm water filters, repair and replacement of storm water infrastructure, measurable improvements in water quality.
